2021 virtual conference
Dear ISSWOV Members,
Hope you and your family members are all safe and doing well.
You may recall that we had deferred the 2020 conference to a later date. The Executive Committee in consultation with the Organizers has decided to postpone the conference to 2022 given the prevalent precarious situation, especially in regard to international travel.
All of us were very keen to meet and interact with you all to exchange updates in person about each other’s well-being and new ideas. We are trying to make our wishes come true.
This is to invite you to a three hours virtual conference on June 28TH 2021 at 3:00 PM (Central European Time). The agenda would be:
An address by Dr. George Banks, from UNC Charlotte, on “Virtual Leadership”
Another address by Dr. Nicholas Bloom, from Stanford University, on “Why working from home will stick”
Presentation of competitive project ideas (see below)

Many of us have been thinking about foster collaboration among ISSWOV members. For that purpose, we are organizing a competition on project proposals to promote joint work and connecting with each other. The conditions would be:
At least one member of the research team must have attended an ISSWOV conference.
Proposals covering at least three countries (research location and/or author affiliation) are strongly encouraged.
The proposals must be submitted online before May 1st 11:59 PM (Central European Time) using the following link: https://itamnegocios.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9mout9jELOHFsUu (in this link you will find the details regarding the content and sections of the proposal and the word limit)
Two to three invited proposals will be presented during the virtual conference on June 28TH
The winning proposal will get a reward of 1,000 USD upon presentation of the full paper at the next ISSWOV conference.
Following the tradition of ISSWOV conferences, proposal should be related to our central themes: work and organizational values, but also on how employees and organizations are facing and adapting to these unprecedent times.
