The Future of Work Values: Wellbeing, Diversity, and Meaning in the Age of AI and Transformation

June 28 – July 1, 2026 | Palacký University Olomouc, Czech Republic

Conference Theme

The future of work is being reshaped by multiple forces:

  • rapid advances in artificial intelligence and digital technologies,

  • shifting demographics and intergenerational diversity,

  • evolving expectations about wellbeing, purpose, and meaning at work, and

  • profound organizational and societal transformations in the wake of crises and global change.

Against this backdrop, the 2026 ISSWOV conference invites contributions exploring how work and organizational values evolve, endure, or fracture in times of transformation. The theme “The Future of Work Values: Wellbeing, Diversity, and Meaning in the Age of AI and Transformation” highlights the need to integrate insights from occupational health psychology, organizational behavior, leadership, cross-cultural management, and technology studies to better understand:

  • How can organizations design human-centered workplaces in an era of AI and automation?

  • What values sustain engagement, resilience, and wellbeing across cultural and generational divides?

  • How do intergenerational knowledge sharing and diversity shape organizational values?

  • In what ways are meanings of work being redefined by digitalization, crises, and societal change?

  • How can leaders and practitioners align values, ethics, and performance in a fragmented, globalized world?

Keynote Speakers
  • Professor Arnold B. Bakker (Erasmus University Rotterdam)

  • Other keynote speakers to be announced, pending confirmation
